Setting the Time:

Remove the plastic crown stop between the case and crown to begin use.

  1. Make sure the crown is in the correct time setting position, 2 clicks out from its closed position closest to the case.  Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands.

  2. Check AM/PM by looking at the 24-hour sub-dial at the 3 o’clock position.

  3. Push in the crown to the normal position.
*Note: If the crown is pulled to the second position while the chronograph is running, the chronograph hands will continue to move, which is not a malfunction. Pulling the crown to the second position will stop the watch.

Using the Chronograph:

Your Anders & Co timepiece features a stopwatch that can measure up to 60 minutes.

  1. To start the chronograph: Press the upper pusher. The chronograph hands will begin to move.

  2. To stop the chronograph: Press the upper pusher again. The chronograph hands will stop and indicate the elapsed time. (Read the elapsed seconds on the large central hand and minutes on the sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position).

  3. To reset the chronograph: Press the lower pusher to reset. All chronograph hands will return to the "0" position.

Using the Tachymeter Scale:

The tachymeter scale can be used to calculate speed based on travel time and measure distance based on speed.

To measure speed: Start the chronograph at the beginning of a 1-kilometer or 1-mile distance. At the end of the distance, the point on the scale next to the second hand will indicate your speed.

To measure distance: While traveling at a constant speed, start the chronograph at the beginning of the distance to be measured. When the second hand reaches the point on the tachymeter scale that equals your speed, one unit of distance (miles or kilometers) has been covered.
For example, if you travel at a constant 80 mph (or 80 km/h), the distance traveled while the second hand sweeps to "80" (in 45 seconds) will be exactly 1 mile at 80 mph (or 1 kilometer at 80 km/h).

Water Resistance:

Avoid Swimming.  Avoid using it in hot baths, showers, or saltwater. Ensure that the crown is fully pushed in to maintain 3 ATM water resistance.

Accuracy and Battery Replacement:

The movement's accuracy is within 20 seconds per month. With normal use, the battery in your Anders & Co chronograph should last about two years. If the watch begins to run slowly, it indicates that the battery should be replaced. Use a ref. SR936SW or ref. 394 battery. Note that extreme heat or cold can shorten battery life.
